FARKLI YÖNTEMLER İLE KULLANILAN GEÇİCİ MATERYALLERİNİN RENK STABİLİTESİNE POLİSAJ PATLARININ ETKİSİ

Abstract

AMAÇ: Bu çalışmanın amacı, farklı geçici yapım teknikleri ile kullanılan geçici materyallerinin renk stabilitelerine polisaj patlarının etkisinin araştırılmasıdır.
GEREÇ YÖNTEMLER: Üç farklı yöntemle kullanılan geçici materyalinden 90 adet 18x15x2 mm boyutlarında örnekler hazırlanmıştır. Polimetil metakrilat (PMMA) ve bis- akrilik kompozit rezin örnekler teflon kalıp yardımı ile, CAD/CAM PMMA örnekler hassas kesme cihazı yardımı ile hazırlanmıştır. Örneklerin şekillendirilmesinin ardından fazlalıklar canavar frez ile kaldırılmış ve tüm örnekler 600 grid su zımparası ile zımparalanmıştır. Daha sonra her materyalden örnekler 3 gruba (n=10) ayrılmıştır. Birinci gruptaki örneklere yüzey işlemi uygulanmamıştır. İkinci gruptaki örneklere universal polisaj patı ve üçüncü gruptaki örneklere elmas içerikli pat uygulanmıştır. Distile suda 24 saat bekletmenin ardında örneklerin başlangıç L, a, b değerleri ölçülmüştür. 6 gün kahve solüsyonunda bekletilmiş ve tekrar renk değerleri ölçülerek ∆E (renk değişimi) değeri hesaplanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler iki yönlü ANOVA ile değerlendirilmiş, gruplar arası farkların tespiti için Tukey’s HSD post hoc testi yapılmıştır (p<0.05).
BULGULAR: Faklı yöntemle kullanılan geçici materyallerinin ∆E değeri istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bulunmuştur. PMMA toz likit karıştırmalı üründe en düşük ∆E değeri bulunurken en yüksek ∆E değeri bis- akrilik kompozit rezinde bulunmuştur. Ancak farklı polisaj patlarının ∆E değerine etkisi olmadığı tespit edilmiştir.
SONUÇ: Uzun dönem kullanılması planlanan sabit geçicilerde, renk stabilitesine, materyal seçimi uygulanacak yüzey işleminden daha fazla etki etmektedir.
