Articles published in Selçuk Dental Journal are digitally archived in LOCKSS. In addition, published articles can be accessed by authors in university institutional archives (DSpace, AVESIS, etc.), professional archives or other archives with no retention period. This means that everyone has immediate and free access to this publication.

The archival policy of Selçuk Dental Journal (e-ISSN: 2148-7529) is in line with the policy of supporting the dissemination of research results.
• Selçuk Dental Journal allows authors to use the final published version of their articles (publisher PDF) for self-archiving (author's personal website) and/or archiving in institutional repositories after publication.
• Authors may archive their articles in public and/or commercial professional repositories. There is no embargo period, but published sources must be cited and linked to the journal home page or article DOI.
• Authors can download the article printout in PDF format. Authors can also send copies of their articles to colleagues without embargo.
• Selçuk Dental Journal ensures that all versions of an article (submitted, accepted, published) are archived without embargo at one institution or another archive of the author's choice.
• Selçuk Dental Journal uses the LOCKSS system to ensure the creation of permanent archives. Based on Stanford University Libraries, the LOCKSS program provides libraries and publishers with award-winning, open-source, cost-effective digital preservation tools that provide permanent, reliable access to digital content. The LOCKSS program is a library-driven, long-term digital preservation system built on the principle of "securing the greatest number of copies". The LOCKSS program develops and supports libraries using open source end-to-end long-term digital preservation software.
