Convenience Determination of Precise Mechanic Sowing Machine with Cell Wheel System to Sugar Beet Sowing

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the sowing success of precise mechanic drilling machines with cell wheel sys-tem using in sowing of pelleted and un-pelleted monogerm sugar-beet seeds. Various statistical assesments have been made on the data obtained from laboratory experiments. According to the results of this research, the differences between pelleted and un-pelleted monogerm sugar beet seeds in respect of row seed distribution uniformity were significant. Consequently, coefficient of variance of seed distribution on row in the pelleted and un-pelleted monogerm sugar-beet seed had been varied from 9.36% to 59.63% and from 27.56% to 73.60% respectively. The miss ratio increased with the increase of disc peripheral speed. In drilling of pelleted seeds on the row dis-tance of 9.34cm and un pelleted seeds on the row distance of 4.84 cm, 7.47 and 9.34 cm with mechanic precision drill, the forward speed of the machine must be under 1.5 m/s.
