In this study, fatty acid compositions of five summer varieties of "00" type rapeseed (Westar, Cesar, Drakkar, Loras and Proto-87) which adapted in Ankara and Konya were investigated by GLC. In the fatty acid compositions of Westar, Cesar and Loras, erusic acids were found 0.46-2.68%. In the fatty acid compositions of Drakkar and Proto-87, erusic acid, however, was not showed. In the fatty acid compositions of all varieties, major fatty acids, oleic, linoleic and linolenic acids were respectively determinated 42.88-63.32%, 1.31-21.10% and 1.49-8.63%. However, other fatty acids in the fatty acid composition of all varieties were found as minor varing degrees.

Bu araştırmada Ankara ve Konya koşullarında adaptasyonu denenmiş "00" tipinde beş yazlık kolza çeşidinin (Westar, Cesar, Drakkar, Loras ve Proto-87) yağ asidi bileşimi gaz kromatografik yöntemle incelenmiştir. Westar, Cesar ve Loras çeşitlerinde % 0.46 ile % 2.68 oranlarında erusik asit bulunmuştur. Drakkar ve Proto-87 çeşitlerinde ise erusik asit görülmemiştir. Tüm çeşitlerin yağ asidi bileşiminde oleik asit % 42.88-63.32, lino- leik asit % 1.31-21.10 ve linolenik asit % 1.49-8.63 olarak belirlenmiştir. Diğer yağ asitleri çeşitlere göre değişmek üzere düşük oranlarda bulunmuştur.
