Ethical Principles and Publication Policy
Plagiarism, fake authorship/denied authorship, research/data fabrication, production of fabricated data/results, salami slicing, segmented publication, submitting the same publication to multiple venues, copyright infringement, and concealment of conflicts of interest are considered unethical behaviors. In the event that the author(s) identify an error or inaccuracy in their published work, early view publication, or work under evaluation, they are responsible for cooperating with the editor in the correction or retraction process. All articles that do not comply with accepted ethical standards are removed from publication. This also includes articles containing potential violations or irregularities identified after publication.
Research Ethics
Our journal follows the highest standards in research ethics. The international research ethics principles defined below have been adopted. Compliance of articles with ethical rules is the responsibility of the authors. In the design of the research, the review of the design, and the conduct of the research, the principles of integrity, quality, and transparency must be ensured. The research team and participants must be fully informed about the purpose of the research, its methods, the possible intended uses, the requirements of participation, and any potential risks. The confidentiality of the information provided by research participants and the privacy of respondents must be ensured. The research must be designed in a way that protects the autonomy and dignity of the participants. Research participants must take part in the study voluntarily and must not be subjected to any coercion. Harm to participants must be avoided. The research must be planned in such a way that participants are not exposed to risk. Transparency regarding the independence of the research must be ensured, and any conflicts of interest must be declared.
In experimental studies, written informed consent must be obtained from participants who decide to take part in the research. Consent must also be obtained from the legal guardians of children, individuals under guardianship, or those with certified mental illness. If the research is to be conducted within any institution or organization, approval must be obtained from that institution or organization for the conduct of the study. In studies involving human participants, it must be stated in the “method” section that “informed consent” was obtained from the participants and that ethical committee approval was received from the institution where the study was conducted.
