- The publication languages of Studies in Economics and Political Sciences are Turkish and English.
- Accepted manuscripts must be formatted by the author(s) in accordance with the formatting guidelines specified below.
- The electronic copy of the manuscript must be prepared in Microsoft Word using the Cambria typeface. The main text should be 10 pt; the abstract and footnotes should be 9 pt; and the titles and sources of graphs, figures, and tables should be 10 pt.
- The article title should be written in 12 pt, bold, and left-aligned, with the first letter of each word capitalized in the language of the manuscript. If the manuscript is in Turkish, the English title should be added below the Turkish title in 12 pt, italic, and left-aligned.
- Submitted manuscripts must contain a minimum of 4,000 words and a maximum of 12,000 words, excluding the references. The line spacing should be set to 1.0.
- Page layout: The page size should be A4 (21 × 29.7 cm). The text should be formatted in a single-column layout and fully justified.
- Page margins: The margins should be set to narrow: top 2.29 cm, bottom 2.12 cm, left 1.5 cm, and right 1.5 cm.
- Manuscripts submitted in Turkish must include both Turkish and English abstracts. An English abstract is sufficient for manuscripts submitted in English; a Turkish abstract is not required. Abstracts should be between 150 and 250 words. Keywords (maximum 5) should be provided below the abstract. The use of JEL codes is encouraged. The abstract, keywords, and JEL codes should be written in Cambria, 9 pt. The abstract text should be italicized.
- First-level headings in the main text should be written in 10 pt, bold; second-level headings should be written in 10 pt, italic; and third-level headings should be written in 10 pt, italic, with the first letter of each word capitalized. Headings should be numbered as I., A., A1., A.1.1.
- An 8 pt spacing should be left after each paragraph.
- Tables and figures used in the manuscript should be numbered along with their titles. Figure titles should be placed below the figures, while table titles should be placed above the tables, in the following format: “Table 1. Table Title” and “Figure 1. Figure Title.” The source should be indicated immediately below the table and figure titles. Tables and figures should be referred to in the text.
- References should be cited using the in-text parenthetical citation method. The reference list must be prepared in accordance with the 7th edition of the APA style. Please refer to the sample manuscript template for examples of reference formatting.
- All correspondence concerning submitted manuscripts will be conducted with the first author.
- Manuscripts must be submitted online through the “Submit an Article” option on DergiPark.
- Manuscripts must be submitted together with the “Copyright Agreement Form.”
- The authors are solely responsible for all aspects of the publications published in the journal.
- Authors may be requested to make revisions to their manuscripts based on reviewer reports and/or requests from the Editorial Board.
- More than one work by the same author will not be published in the same issue.
