SEYAD Journal aims to help the research and scientific studies to be shared, negotiated and evaluated by the scientific community, market and those interested. SEYAD, an academic journal, aims to publish scientific articles at national and international level. The language of the journal is Turkish.

Articles submitted to our journal are subjected to double-blind reviewing. In addition, all articles are checked for plagiarism with the iThenticate program in order to avoid plagiarism.

The scope of our journal generally consists of the following areas; 
    • Political Science and Public Administration (Politics and Social Sciences, Public Administration) 
    • Legal Sciences (Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, Criminal Law, Legal History, Philosophy of Law and Sociology) 
    • International Relations (Political History, International Law, International Relations) 
    • Public Finance 
 • Economics (Macroeconomics, Development Economics, Environmental Economics, Monetary Policy, International Economics, Econometrics)
    • In addition to the specified areas, Middle Eastern Studies, African Studies and Ottoman Studies are also included in our journal.

  • Studies prepared with the ISNAD In-Text Citation System (2nd Edition) are accepted for our journal.
  • Turkish and English abstracts in the range of 150-250 words should be included at the beginning of each article.
  • Keywords not exceeding 5-6 words should be given together with the summary.
  • Articles submitted to the journal should not exceed 10 thousand words including references.
  • Articles should not exceed 20 pages, including all tables, figures, references and appendices.
  • Articles are sent in A4 paper size and MS Word program via dergipark.
  • The main text should be aligned with a 3 cm indent from the Right and Left.
  • The main text should be prepared using Times New Roman font.
  • Main headings should be 14 point bold, subheadings should be 12 point bold.

General Principles

In accordance with the policy of confidentiality and impartiality, especially the editor, assistant editors, editorial and advisory boards, end readers, referees, authors and other journal employees, who are involved in all stages of the process of uploading the work, which is the initial stage of the publication process, to the journal page and publishing in the issues. should act within the framework of ethical rules. From this point of view, everyone involved in the process from the preparation of the literature study to the publication of the study in the journal issue is expected to comply with the following ethical principles. Editors / Assistant Editors / Issue Editors Responsibilities

  • The Journal of Politics, Economics and Management Studies, Editors, Assistant Editors, Issue Editors have the right to check the review of articles and other studies regarding their compliance with the journal's policy, purpose and scope completely and accurately before the article evaluation process.
  • Journal of Politics, Economics and Management Studies, Editors, Assistant Editors, Issue Editors have to take precautions against necessary unethical behaviors, especially intellectual property rights.
  • Journal of Politics, Economics and Management Studies, Editors, Assistant Editors, Issue Editors, in case of a negative decision, must notify the author in writing, with a reasoned letter, taking into account the original value, method, purpose and scope of the study, and its contribution to the field.
  • Editors, Assistant Editors, Issue Editors should not have a conflict of interest with respect to accepted or rejected works or author(s).
  • Editors, Assistant Editors, Issue Editors are obliged to protect the personal information of authors and referees within the scope of ethical principles.
  • Editors, Assistant Editors, Issue Editors must comply with the rule of impartiality in the article evaluation process. It should prevent the referrals of referees and other people involved in the publication process. Ensure timely completion of the evaluation process.
  • Editors, Assistant Editors, Issue Editors send their work to two referees who have at least one study in the evaluation process, related to their fields of expertise and study subject.
  • The editor has full authority to determine the referees who will evaluate the studies. It is authorized to make the final decision regarding the studies.
  • Editors and other publisher bodies are obliged to examine whether the studies contain plagiarism, data fraud or manipulated citations, and to inform the necessary institutions or organizations about the relevant authors, when necessary, taking into account the suggestions or evaluations of the referees. Responsibility for damages and compensations arising from negativities that may arise belongs to the author(s).
  • Editors, Assistant Editors, Issue Editors should determine whether the studies have plagiarism problems during the pre-check and inform the authors
  • When the editors and editorial board deem it necessary, they should check whether the necessary corrections requested by the referees are measured and appropriate, and whether the desired corrections have been made.


Responsibilities of the Referees

  • After the preliminary evaluation of the studies, the opinions of the referees are prioritized.,
  • If the referees cannot evaluate the studies sent to them in a timely manner or if they think that it is more appropriate to evaluate the study subject by another referee, they should inform the editor immediately
  • Reviewers should evaluate the studies in an impartial and impartial manner.
  • The referees should not share the data of the evaluated studies with third parties in any way. The responsibility arising from this situation belongs to the referee.
  • Reviewers should evaluate the studies objectively. While making assessments, they should be constructive and destroy the relevant file at the end of the assessment process.
  • During the evaluation phase, the referees are responsible for whether the studies are within the scope of the appropriate methodology, and otherwise, they are responsible for recommending the appropriate method. They should criticize their work in a constructive manner in a measured manner, and avoid condescending and insulting criticism.
  • The referees must do the evaluation process within the evaluation period given to their cats.
  • If the referees deem it necessary, they have the right to request citations from various other studies in order to increase the quality of the study. However, in this case, in terms of necessity and proportionality, the evaluation of the requests of the referees belongs to the editor.


Authors Responsibilities

  • Studies should be original and contribute to the literature.
  • Authors should pay attention to spelling rules, citation and bibliography in their works. Responsibility for plagiarism belongs to the author(s).
  • In case of damage related to plagiarism, the necessary compensations belong to the author(s).
  • Studies can only be withdrawn, provided that the editor and editorial board are notified before the referee evaluation.
  • In their works, the authors do not use language, religion, race, gender, sect, age, political thought, etc. should not use any discriminatory language such as
  • Authors should make their evaluations and suggestions in their studies with objectivity and academic ethics.
  • The names of third parties who do not contribute to the works should not be written as authors.
  • After the studies are included in the evaluation process, any missing information about the authors should be completed, but no request should be made to add or remove any authors.
  • If the studies are articles published in scientific meetings or theses, they should be indicated as footnotes on the first page of the study.
  • If data and information are requested by the referees during the evaluation process of the study, the necessary information should be conveyed to the relevant persons through the editors
  • The authors should immediately contact the Editorial Office of the Journal of Politics, Economics and Management Research, when they deem it necessary to make changes in the evaluation process or in the studies published.
  • Studies in sliced ​​form are not accepted by the Journal of Politics, Economics and Management Studies (SEYAD). Authors should not prepare a sliced ​​study and should not be sent to different journals for evaluation in parallel.
  • During the evaluation phase, if the author(s) realizes that there is a mistake with their work, they should immediately contact the editor.
  • Damages arising from the results revealed by fabricated data belong to the authors.
