Submitted articles undergo an initial editorial review, after which they are assigned to an editor and processed through a double-blind peer review system.
Due to the high volume of submissions, we kindly remind authors that accepted articles may require a waiting period of several issues before publication. We ask prospective contributors to take this into consideration before submitting their work.
Articles that successfully complete the review process are scheduled for publication in the order in which they were received. Therefore, the length of the waiting period may vary depending on the submission date.
Accepted articles may be made available online as “early view” prior to being assigned to a specific issue. However, as issue assignment is also based on the order of submission, SineFilozofi Journal does not make any commitments regarding the exact publication date of early view articles.
ABOUT
SineFilozofi is a peer-reviewed, widespread, periodical electronic journal published twice a year. The journal, which has an interdisciplinary structure between the fields of cinema and philosophy, aims to provide grounds for international academic debate in the field. SineFilozofi has adopted the policy of providing open access. The journal does not charge APCs or submission charges. The Journal is not commercial, and access to the journal content is free. SineFilozofi operates on the basis of volunteerism. No royalties are paid for the articles, book and movie reviews or interviews that are published in the journal. Articles sent to the journal should not be published elsewhere or sent for publication. Sinefilozofi journal does not reserve the publication rights of the articles. All publication rights belong to the authors. However, articles published in the journal cannot be used without reference.
