Open Access Policy

Open Access is when publications are freely available to anyone online, with few restrictions on reuse. The unrestricted dissemination of research is especially important for authors, readers and funders. 

The journal's open-access articles are licensed as Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0).
The Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) license permits sharing, copying, reproducing, and adapting the work in any size and format except for commercial use, including remixing, transforming, and building upon the work, provided that proper attribution is given to the original work.
The licensee cannot revoke the following as long as the license terms are met. You may freely do the following:
1) Share: You may copy and redistribute the work in any medium or format.
2) Adapt: Mix, transfer and build on existing work

The Journal of Sirah Studies (JSR) provides immediate open-access to its content by adopting the principle that making scientific research freely available to the public will increase global knowledge sharing.
Articles published in this journal are digitally archived in LOCKSS. The LOCKSS system has permission to collect, preserve and make this access Archive Volume available.
