Siyer Araştırmaları Dergisi

As the first academic journal in the field of Sīrah in Türkiye, The Journal of Sīrah Studies (Siyer Araştırmaları Dergisi) is an international scholarly journal dedicated to the field of Sīrah (the Prophetic Biography of Muhammad) studies. It is published biannually in April and October, operates on a free open-access basis, and adopts a double-blind peer review system.

The Journal of Sīrah Studies (Siyer Araştırmaları Dergisi), founded in 2017, was initially published in both print and electronic formats. Since 2024, the journal has been published exclusively in electronic format.

As of 2027, the publication schedule of the journal will change to June and December. Manuscript submission periods are 15 January-15 March for the June issue and 15 July-15 September for the December issue. The submission system may close before the announced deadline if sufficient submissions are received.

Manuscripts submitted to the journal must include an English title, a 100-300 word abstract, five keywords, footnotes and a bibliography prepared in accordance with the ISNAD Citation System (2nd Edition).
