This journal is an open source journal preparation and publishing software TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM uses the Open Journal Systems software DergiPark ULAKBİM Journal Systems v19.05.2 within the DergiPark Project with the status of Sponsoring Institution.

Open Access Policy

The Journal of Social and Cultural Studies (SKAD) is an Open Access Journal in accordance with the Berlin Declaration. All articles can be downloaded free of charge for personal, educational and scientific purposes (Creative Commons certification).

Based on the principle that it supports the wider global exchange of information, instant access to the content of this journal is available. For more information on the terms of the license, please see: https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0

There is no processing fee for any process (evaluation, publication, etc.) for any article uploaded to the journal. There is no open access publication fee for authors. In addition, authors are not paid royalty fees for their articles.

Our magazine is a party to the Budapest Open Access Movement (BOAI). According to BOAI, Open Access is the “peer-reviewed scientific literature, via the internet; freely accessible, readable, downloaded, copied, distributed, printed, scanned, linked to full texts, indexed, transferred to the software as data and used for all kinds of legal purposes, without financial, legal and technical obstacles.
