Sıcak Hava Dalgalarına Uyum Çerçevesinde Konut İçi Mekânsal Davranış Biçimlerinin Değerlendirilmesi: Kadıköy İlçesi Örneği

Abstract

Sıcak hava dalgalarının konut içi mekânsal davranış biçimlerini nasıl etkileyeceği üzerine gerçekleştirilen çalışma, sıcak hava dalgalarına maruz kalan kişilerin farkındalık seviyelerinin belirlenmesini ve konut içi davranış şekillerine etkisinin incelenmesini amaçlamaktadır. Sıcak hava dalgalarının etkilerini anlamaya yönelik olarak, İstanbul ili Kadıköy ilçesinde ikamet eden ve farklı konut tiplerinde ikamet eden 368 kişiye mekansal davranış biçimleri, farkındalık seviyeleri ve demografik özellikleri içeren sorular anketler aracılığıyla uygulanmıştır. 2022 yılında gerçekleştirilen bu çalışmada çeşitli çapraz kontroller sonucu 311 katılımcının cevapları değerlendirmeye alınmıştır. Sonuçlara göre, sıcak hava dalgalarına yönelik farkındalığın yüksek seviyede olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Sıcak hava dalgalarına yönelik farkındalığın konut içi kullanım alışkanlıkları ile ilişkisine bakıldığında ise, katılımcıların tamamına yakınının evi serinletmek için öncelikle pencereleri karşılıklı açık bırakarak hava akımı oluşturmaya yöneldikleri çünkü ekonomik kaygılara sahip oldukları görülmektedir. Buna ek olarak katılımcıların gün içinde duş alma sıklığını arttırdıkları, güneş etkilerinin yoğun hissedildiği saatlerde güneş ışığı almayan oda kullanımına yöneldikleri, güneş ışığının içeri girmesini engelleyici önlemler aldıkları ve sıcaklığın yoğun hissedildiği zaman dilimlerinde evi serinletme yollarına başvurdukları görülmüştür.
