Abstract
Environmental protection and sustainable development in the host but also the economic development means in the past, present and future environmental, economic and social well-being. Abstract
Çevrenin korunmasını ve aynı zamanda ekonomik kalkınmayı da içinde barındıran sürdürülebilir kalkınma, bugün ve gelecek için çevresel, ekonomik ve sosyal refah anlamına gelmektedir. Eko-etkinlik, dünyanın taşıma kapasitesini dikkate alarak yaşam döngüsü boyunca insanoğlunun ekolojik etkisi ve kaynak yoğunluğunu azaltırken, yaşam kalitesini artırmayı, insan ihtiyaçlarını üretilen rekabetçi fiyatlı mal ve hizmetlerle karşılamayı hedeflemektedir. Eko-etkinliğin ölçülmesinde kullanılan temel değişkenler; ürün ve hizmet göstergeleri, çevresel etki göstergeleri ve değer göstergeleri olarak üç ana gruba ayrılmaktadır. OECD ülkelerinin eko-etkinlik çerçevesinde karşılaştırılması çevresel etki göstergeleri ile 1990-2010 yılları arasında değerlendirilecektir
