Abstract

Ludwig van Beethoven’s piano sonatas have an important place in piano education. The aim of this study is to analyze Beethoven’s Opus 2 No.1 piano sonata for teaching purposes. The aforementioned sonata was analyzed in terms of “formal structure”, “motif structure” and “technical features”. As a result of the analysis of the sonata and the technical studies written for helping students to deal with the difficulties in the learning process, it was concluded that students could learn this sonata in a shorter time, also this study could set an example for learning similar sonatas with ease.

LUDWİG VAN BEETHOVEN’İN OPUS 2 NO.1 SONATININ PİYANO ÖĞRETİMİNE YÖNELİK İNCELENMESİ

Abstract

Ludwig van Beethoven’in piyano sonatları piyano eğitiminde önemli yer tutmaktadır. Bu araştırmanın amacı, Beethoven’in Opus 2 No.1 sonatını piyano öğretimine yönelik incelemektir. Bu amaca yönelik olarak. Beethoven’in Opus 2 No.1 piyano sonatı birinci bölümünün öğrenciler tarafından sıklıkla çalınması ve yarattığı kazanımlar sebebiyle seçilmiş, incelenmiş ve analiz edilmiştir. Betimsel araştırma yöntemi kullanılarak yapılan bu çalışmada Beethoven’in piyano için bestelediği Opus 2 No.1 sonatı “biçimsel yapı, “motifsel yapı” ve “teknik güçlükler” bakımından analiz edilmiştir. Yapılan inceleme ve yazılan teknik çalışmalar sayesinde öğrencilerin bu sonatı kısa sürede öğrenmelerini sağlayabileceği ve benzer sonatları çalışmalarına örnek oluşturabileceği sonucuna varılmış, ayrıca bestecinin diğer enstürmanlar için bestelemiş olduğu sonatlarının da benzer biçimde analiz edilmesi önerilmiştir.
