Türkiye'de Telekomünikasyon Altyapısının Ekonomik Gelişmişliğe Etkisi: Coğrafi Ağırlıklı Regresyon Yöntemi

Abstract

Bu çalışmada Türkiye’nin NUTS 3 düzey bölgesi için 2000 yılındaki ekonomik gelişmişlik düzeyi ve telekomünikasyon alt yapısı arasındaki ilişki incelenmiştir. Bu amaçla bölgeler arası farklılıkları ele alan Coğrafi Ağırlıklı Regresyon (GWR) yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Ampirik analiz neticesinde alt yapının ekonomik gelişmeyi hem genel hem de local olarak pozitif yönde etkilediği bulgusuna ulaşılmıştır. Alt yapının ekonomik gelişmişlik düzeyini en fazla etkilediği illerin Türkiye’nin doğusundan iç bölgelere doğru uzanan iller ile batısından iç bölgelere doğru uzanan illerde olduğu görülmüştür. En az etki ise Türkiye’nin ortasında yer alan kuzeye ve güneye doğru uzanan illerde görülmüştür.

Abstract

En az etki ise Türkiye’nin ortasında yer alan kuzeye ve güneye doğru uzanan illerde görülmüştür.
