Abstract

Abstract

Examining the life style habits of teachers and personnel who work with school age children and youngsters is important on the ground that they are both role models for the aforementioned group and their performances rely on their being healthy. The purpose of this study is to determine the healthy life habits and the physical activity consciousness levels of Ankara University College teachers and personnel (n= 69). In order to reach this goal, the questionnaire which was developed by Tuncel and Tuncel (2009) “Healthy Life Style and Physical Activity Consciousness Level” was used. The data obtained was analyzed by using the descriptive statistics. The obtained data showed that the physical activity consciousness levels of personnel are high but their healthy life habits need to be developed
