The aim of this study was to investigate the exercise addiction levels of the future coaches. Randomly selected 163 students (79 female, 84 male) who studied in Sinop University Faculty of Sport Sciences, Department of Coaching Education in 2019-2020 Academic Year constituted the sample group of this study. In present study, ‘Personal Information Form’ and ‘Exercise Addiction Inventory’ were used as data collection tool. For the scores obtained from inventory, Independent Samples t test was utilized in paired comparisons and, One-Way ANOVA and Tukey HSD tests were utilized in multiple comparisons. No significant difference was found between sub-dimensions, excepting the score of ‘delay of personal-social needs and conflict’, which was one of the sub-dimensions of the exercise addiction inventory in terms of gender variable (p>0.05). Exercise frequency and license year variables showed no significance excepting the score of ‘excessive focus and emotion development’ sub-dimensions (p>0.05). On the other hand, statistical significance was detected in scores of exercise addiction ‘excessive focus and emotion development’ and ‘exercise addiction inventory general total’ sub-dimensions according to the participants’ exercise duration variable (p<0.05). There was no statistical difference in terms of being happy with physical appearance variable (p>0.05). Consequently, it was concluded that participants’ general exercise addiction levels belonged to the addicted group regarding data obtained.
