Quality Assurance
Editors are responsible for ensuring that each article published complies with the journal’s policies and international publishing standards.

Protection of Personal Data
Editors are responsible for safeguarding the personal data of individuals included in the evaluated manuscripts (e.g., participants, images). If explicit consent is not documented, the manuscript must be rejected. Editors must also protect the personal data of authors, reviewers, and readers.

Ethics Committee Approval and Human/Animal Rights
Editors are responsible for ensuring that ethics approval is obtained for studies involving human or animal subjects. Manuscripts lacking necessary approvals or permissions must be rejected.

Prevention of Misconduct and Abuse
Editors must take proactive measures to prevent and address cases of misconduct or abuse. They are responsible for conducting objective and meticulous investigations into complaints and sharing relevant findings as needed.

Ensuring Academic Integrity
Editors are tasked with swiftly correcting errors, inconsistencies, or misleading claims in published content.

Protection of Intellectual Property Rights
Editors must protect the intellectual property rights of all published articles and act to defend the rights of the journal and its authors in the event of any violations. They must also ensure that the content does not infringe upon the rights of other publications.

Constructiveness and Openness to Criticism
Editors must consider well-reasoned criticisms of published works and respond constructively.
Authors of criticized articles should be given the right to reply.
Editors should not disregard or exclude studies with negative results.

Impartiality
Editors must evaluate manuscripts solely based on their intellectual content, without regard to the authors’ race, gender, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, ethnic origin, nationality, or political philosophy.

Investigation of Allegations
If persuasive evidence of an ethical violation is presented, the editor must coordinate with the editorial board and publisher to issue a correction, retraction, or other necessary amendment.

Conflict of Interest
Editors must not be involved in decisions regarding manuscripts written by themselves or their family members. Such submissions must be subject to the journal's standard processes. Editors should apply the ICMJE guidelines on disclosing potential conflicts of interest by authors and reviewers.

Publication Decision
Editors are responsible for deciding which submissions to publish, based on reviewer reports and the journal’s editorial policies.

Citation Manipulation
Editors should not request citations to their own journal or other journals unless there is a valid scientific reason. Manipulating citation counts for metrics or rankings is unethical.

Correction, Retraction, Expression of Concern
Editors may issue corrections for minor errors that do not affect the findings or conclusions of the work.
If major errors or violations are detected that invalidate findings, editors should consider retraction.
In cases where misconduct is suspected but cannot be investigated or resolved, an expression of concern may be published. All such actions should follow COPE and ICMJE guidelines.

Handling Complaints
Editors are responsible for reviewing and responding to complaints from authors, reviewers, or readers in a transparent and informative manner.

Independence from Political and Commercial Interests
Editorial decisions must remain independent and not be influenced by journal owners, publishers, or other political or commercial entities.
