Guide for Author

Sabuncuoglu Serefeddin Health Sciences adheres to the principles of transparency, ethical editorial practice, and publishing standards as defined by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). The journal follows the recommendations of the ICMJE (International Committee of Medical Journal Editors); therefore, authors must prepare their submissions in accordance with the journal’s author guidelines.

Manuscripts requiring revisions will be electronically returned to the author(s). Authors are expected to carefully review the reviewers’ comments and respond to each one individually. If the author(s) disagree with a reviewer’s comment, they must provide a detailed explanation. If a manuscript is not revised and resubmitted within 30 days, it will be treated as a new submission.

The editor makes the final decision after evaluating the revisions and corrections made by the author(s).

- All scientific studies submitted for publication undergo the following stages: Preliminary Check, Plagiarism Screening, Peer Review, and English Language Editing.

- If a manuscript fails the preliminary check after three evaluations, it will be returned to the author and not reconsidered in the same issue cycle.

- Manuscripts that pass the preliminary check are subjected to a double-blind peer review process, with at least two reviewers assigned.

- The Abstract section must clearly state the research topic, scope, significance, and objectives. Both the Turkish and English abstracts must be approximately 250 words.
