Optimum Allocation In STRATIFIED Random Sampling Via Hölder's Inequality

Year 2003, Volume: 1 Issue: 21, 43 - 48, 01.12.2003

Abstract

As known, for optimum allocation in stratified random sampling three approaches are considered. These methods are known as Lagrange multipliers, linear or non-linear optimization and inequalities. In this study, we defined the total sampling cost function by a much more flexible function and show formulas for sample size and the stratum sample sizes determinations. As seen, these formulas provide easy calculations.

Hölder Eşitsizliğiyle Tabakalı Tesadüfi Örneklemede En Uygun Paylaştırma

Year 2003, Volume: 1 Issue: 21, 43 - 48, 01.12.2003
