Archiving and Data Distribution Policy

The editor ensures that published material is securely archived. Selcuk University Journal of Science Faculty sends the articles published on an open access basis to electronic archives without the need for any action by the author(s) and makes them open to full access. The author or funding organization may upload a copy of the author's accepted article to archive sites. Selcuk University Journal of Science Faculty author's license permits reuse for non-commercial use only, with reference to the source of the article (with a full citation). 

Selcuk University Journal of Science Faculty undertakes to keep all its articles open access under CC-BY-NC Creative Commons license and to store full-text content on archive platforms and https://dergipark.org.tr/tr/pub/sufefd  website.

The publisher of Selcuk University Journal of Science Faculty (e-ISSN: 2458-9411) is pleased to announce its archive policy in line with its policy of supporting the dissemination of research results.
• Selcuk University Journal of Science Faculty allows authors to use the final published version of an article (publisher pdf) for self-archiving (author's personal website) and/or archiving in an institutional repository after publication.
• Authors can self-archive their articles in public and/or commercial subject-based archives. There is no embargo period, but the published source should be cited and a link should be set to the journal homepage or DOI of the articles.
• Authors can download the output of the article as a PDF document. Authors can send copies of the article to their colleagues without any embargo.
• Selcuk University Journal of Science Faculty allows all versions of the articles (sent version, accepted version, published version) without embargo and will be stored in an institutional or other archive preferred by the author.
• Selcuk University Journal of Science Faculty uses the LOCKSS system to allow permanent archives to be created. Based on the Stanford University Libraries, the LOCKSS Program provides libraries and publishers with award-winning, low-cost, and open-source digital preservation tools to provide access to permanent and authoritative digital content. The LOCKSS Program is a library-led digital preservation system built on the principle of "securing large numbers of copies". The LOCKSS Program develops and supports libraries using open source end-to-end digital preservation software.

All expenses of Selcuk University Journal of Science Faculty Journal are covered by Selcuk University Science Faculty Dean's Office. The publication of articles and the execution of article processes in the journal are free of charge. No processing fee or submission fee is charged for articles submitted to the journal or accepted for publication. Selcuk University Journal of Science Faculty does not accept sponsorship and advertisement due to its publication policies.

Selcuk University Journal of Science Faculty accepts articles in Turkish and English with original results in basic sciences and other applied sciences. The journal may also include compilations containing current innovations.

It was first published in 1981 as "S.Ü. Fen-Edebiyat Fakültesi Dergisi" and was published under this name until 1984 (Number 1-4).
In 1984, its name was changed to "S.Ü. Fen-Edeb. Fak. Fen Dergisi" and it was published under this name as of the 5th issue.
When the Faculty of Letters and Sciences was separated into the Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Letters with the decision of the Council of Ministers numbered 2008/4344 published in the Official Gazette dated 3 December 2008 and numbered 27073, it has been published as "Selcuk University Journal of Science Faculty" since 2009.
It has been scanned in DergiPark since 2016.
