The GRC Building Material and Occured Facade Problems of GRC Facade Panel Applications

Abstract

GRC, is a kind of fiber cements which are produced to improve the strength and properties of concrete. It is produced by adding glass fibers to the concrete mixture, The final GRC mixture can be made at various portions. Thus the material finds very extend application areas. In construction sector, it is used extendly in constructions and subcontructions. GRC facade panels, which are kinds of applications of GRC materials, are applicated to building facades by constituting various systems. In S.U. at the Programme of Master of Science in Architecture, in 2010 in the thesis prepared by Gülnihal Demirtaş, with the name of “Occured Problems in GRC Facade Panels and Solution Proposals”, by having GRC facade panels and the problems of facades to which were applicated GRC facade panels on researched, the solution methods were suggested.

CTB YAPI MALZEMESİ VE CTB CEPHE PANELİ UYGULAMALARINDA MEYDANA GELEN CEPHE SORUNLARI

Abstract

CTB (cam lif takviyeli beton), betonun mukavemetinin arttırılması ve özelliklerinin iyileştirilmesini sağlamak amacıyla üretilen lifli betonların bir çeşididir. Beton karışımına cam liflerinin karıştırılması yoluyla üretilir. Elde edilen CTB karışımları çeşitli oranlarda hazırlanabilmektedir. Böylece çok geniş bir alanda malzeme uygulama alanı bulmaktadır. İnşaat sektöründe alt yapı ve üst yapılarda yaygın olarak kullanılmaktadır. CTB malzemesinin bir uygulama alanı olan CTB cephe panelleri, farklı sistemler oluşturacak şekilde bina cephelerine uygulanmaktadır. S.Ü. Mimarlık Yüksek Lisans Programında 2010 tarihinde Gülnihal Demirtaş tarafından hazırlanmış “GRC Cephe Panellerinde Sorunlar ve Çözüm Önerileri” isimli yüksek lisans tezinde, CTB cephe panelleri ve CTB cephe panelleri uygulanmış cephelerde oluşan cephe sorunları incelenerek, çözüm önerileri getirilmiştir. Bu makalede tez çalışması kapsamındaki çalışma konusu özet olarak anlatılmaktadır.
