About
Konya Journal of Engineering Sciences (KONJES) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by Konya Technical University. It publishes scholarly contributions that advance research, methods, technologies, and applications in engineering sciences.
KONJES traces its origins to 1986, when it began publication as the Selçuk University Faculty of Engineering and Architecture Journal. In 2013, it was renamed the Selçuk University Journal of Engineering, Science, and Technology (SUJEST). Following the establishment of Konya Technical University, the journal adopted its current title, Konya Journal of Engineering Sciences (KONJES), in 2018. Publication has continued without interruption since 1986.
The journal publishes in English and issues four numbers each year, in March, June, September, and December. Submitted manuscripts are first assessed by the editorial team and, when suitable for the journal, undergo external double-blind peer review. All published articles are freely accessible to readers. KONJES does not charge authors or their institutions any fees—including submission fees, article processing charges (APCs), or publication fees.
KONJES has been indexed in the Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI) within the Web of Science Core Collection and in TR-Dizin.
