KURUMSAL KAYNAK PLANLAMASI ERP VE YAZILIM SEÇİM SÜRECİ

Abstract

Kurumsal Kaynak Planlaması ERP , bir işletmenin üretimden satışa, satınalmadan muhasebeye dek uzanan işsüreçlerinin ortak bir platformda bir araya getirildiği ve işletmenin farklıfonksiyonlarınıortak bir çatıaltında bütünleştirmeyi öngören yazılımlardır. Kurumun ERPe neden gereksinim duyduğu ve bu gereksinimi karşılayacağına inanılan en iyi yazılımın seçimi, ERP ile tanışıklığın ilk aşamasınıoluşturmaktadır. Kolaylıkla milyon dolar seviyelerinde harcamalara yol açacak böyle bir kararın oluşturulmasıkolay değildir. Bu çalışmada, ERP sistemini kurumuna uyarlamayıdüşünen yöneticilere yol gösterici olabilecek, ERP sisteminin sağlayabileceği faydalar ve seçim sürecine ilişkin kritik faktörler üzerinde durulmuştur. Türkiye ortamında geçerli olan unsurlar, yabancıliteratür çalışmalarıdoğrultusunda düzenlenmişve karar vericilerin dikkatine sunulmuştur.

Abstract

Enterprise Resource Planning ERP is organization-wide software to integrate the business processes of the organization from production to sales and procurement to accounting under a common information technology platform. Selection process is a first step to get introduced to ERP systems which will fit best to the needs of organizations. Decision to select the best ERP system is not a simple task which incurs substantial costs to organizations. The intention of this study is to provide guidance to managers who engage in ERP system selection decisions. A set of critical issues on software selection is identified in the previous literature and adapted to Turkish context and brought forward to the attention of decision makers
