İLKÖĞRETİM ÖĞRETMENLERİNİN SİBER ZORBALIK ALGILARININ İNCELENMESİ: SİİRT ÖRNEĞİ

Abstract

Bu çalışma ortaokullarda görev yapan yöneticilerin siber zorbalık hakkındaki fikirlerini belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırma, Siirt il merkezinde bulunan ortaokullarda görev yapan 14 okul yöneticisi ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma, nitel desenli fenomenolojik bir araştırmadır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre: Teknik bilgi gerektiren siber zorbalık sorunlarının yöneticiler tarafından az karşılaşılan sorunlar oldukları belirlenmiştir. Siber zorbalıkla mücadeleyle ilgili olarak bir kısım yöneticilerin kendi imkânları ölçüsünde okullarda teknik anlamda tedbirler alarak mücadele ettikleri ifade edilebilir. Siber zorbalığın eğitime, sınıfa, öğrenci arası ilişkilere, öğretmen-öğrenci ilişkisine ve okul disiplinine bir takım olumsuz etkileri vardır. Araştırma sonuçlarına bağlı olarak bir takım öneriler sunulmuştur.

PERCEPTION OF TEACHERS WORKING AT PRIMARY SCHOOLS ON CYBERBULLYING: AN EXAMPLE OF SİİRT

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the ideas of the managers working in secondary schools about cyberbullying. The research was carried out with 14 school administrators working in secondary schools in the city center of Siirt. The research is a phenomenological research with a qualitative pattern. The results of the research found out that the cyberbullying problems that require technical knowledge are the problems that are rarely encountered by the managers. Regarding struggles to overcome cyberbullying, it can be stated that some administrators are determined to take technical measures in schools by their personal efforts. Cyberbullying has some negative effects on education, classroom, student relations, teacher-student relations and school discipline. Depending on the results of the research, some suggestions are presented.
