QUALITY COSTS AND DATA QUALITY
Abstract
Quality costs are a factor in an heading directly even if indirect way, the total cost for each component. Quality costs’ importance has been present with various studies and research and then a good number of commercial organizations established a quality cost system and /or follow quality program, for reducing the cost and providing competitive advantage from several angles. The quality costs program that implemented in organizations, commercial or charitable, be successfull, if with integrated working order. The support for an integrated work order is a data that accurate, timely and exchange between relevant departments. Therefore, the most important factor for efficient and effective running of quality costs system is produce and usequality datas. Data quality, affects all of the investment decision, production, marketing, sales, distribution, warranty, repair and maintenance process. In this study, the high-quality and low-quality datas’ impact explaining on the total costs, lower quality data cost items classified that may be caused to and will be referred to the problems that may arise when trying to provide quality information.
