Abstract

Batılılaşma hareketlerine paralel olarak Türkiye’de Avrupalı mürebbiyelergörülmeye başlar. Sayıları gittikçe artan bu mürebbiyelerin Türk sosyal hayatındakirolleri zamanla romana yansır. Bu incelemenin konusu olan Türk romanlarında görülentip düzeyindeki Batılı mürebbiyelerin en meşhurları Jozefino, Jozefin, Anjel, Courton veŞermin’dir.

FUNCTION OF A GOVERNESS AND SOME GOVERNESS TYPE IN THE TURKISH NOVEL

Abstract

During the movements of becoming westernised, European governesses began to
be seen in Turkey. The roles of there governesses, whose numbers were increased
gradually, in Turkish social life were reflected on Turkish novel by the time. The most
famous western governesses, the subject of the research that is at the level of the type
which is seen in the Turkish novels, are Jozefino, Jozefin, Anjel, Courton and Şermin.
