Karlygash Kaysanovna Zhylkyshybayeva holds a doctoral degree in History and serves as an Associate Professor in the “History” Department of the Social and Humanitarian Sciences and Arts Institute at Kazakh National Pedagogical University for Girls. Her main research areas include the teaching of Kazakhstan’s history, methods of historical digitization and the use of innovative pedagogical technologies, the formation of historical knowledge and consciousness values, the moral and spiritual development of students, and issues related to history education.

In 2000, she was awarded the degree of Candidate of Historical Sciences (PhD) by the Higher Attestation Commission of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan (No: 0007991). In 2021, she completed her PhD at Ömer Halisdemir University, Turkey, in the field of “Europe and Asia (Eurasian) Studies,” defending her doctoral dissertation titled “History Education in Kazakhstan between 1980 and 2000”.

Dr. Zhylkyshybayeva participated as a researcher in the project of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan titled “Secular Education and Enlightenment System in the Policies of Modernizing Traditional Kazakh Society in the 1920s–1930s” (GF No: ARO8856779). She has over 100 scientific publications, including 3 monographs, 6 textbooks, articles in journals indexed by Web of Science and Scopus, and international publications in countries such as Russia, Uzbekistan, Turkey, and Afghanistan.
