Abstract

In this writing, in order to analyze the original position of Kadir Cangızbay in the field of sociology in Turkey; the general lines of Georges Gurvitchs sociology which has formed the theoretical direction of Cangızbay, diverse dimensions of the approach of dialectical sociology derived from Gurvitch and his formulization about sociological praxis will be focused. After then, the sociological characterization about political life of Turkey in Cangızbay and finally what are the means of intellectual position (for present and future) of Cangızbay for the present sociological field in Turkey will be focused.
