This study was
carried out in order to determine the yield, grazing capacity and pasture
quality score of two different areas (non-grazed and grazed) in the pasture of
Hal village, Elazig center in 2014-2015. In the study, green herbage yield, hay yield, grazing capacity and pasture quality score
were investigated. According to average results of two years; in the non-grazing area, green herbage yield
was 413.50 kg da-1, hay yield was 141.94 kg da-1, grazing capacity was
37.85 AU (animal unit), pasture area required for one AU was 36.80 da and
pasture quality score was 3.37, however green herbage yield was 294.35 kg da-1 in the grazing area, the
hay yield of pasture was 105.17 kg da-1, the grazing capacity was 28.05
AU, the area of pasture required for one
AU was 49.21 da and the quality score of pasture was 3.45.
Bu araştırma; 2014-2015 yıllarında,
Elazığ Merkeze bağlı Hal Köyü merasında korunan ve otlatılan iki farklı alanın
verim, otlatma kapasitesi ve mera kalite derecesini belirlemek amacıyla
yürütülmüştür. Araştırmada, yeşil ot verimi, kuru ot verimi, otlatma kapasitesi
ve meranın kalite derecesi incelenmiştir. İki yıllık ortalama sonuçlara göre;
korunan alanda yeşil ot verimi 413,50 kg/da, kuru ot verimi 141,94 kg/da,
otlatma kapasitesi 37,85 BBHB, 1 BBHB için gerekli olan mera alanı 36,80 da ve
mera kalite derecesi 3,37 olarak elde edilirken, otlatılan alanda ise yeşil ot
verimi 294,35 kg/da, kuru ot verimi 105,17 kg/da, otlatma kapasitesi 28,05
BBHB, 1 BBHB için gerekli olan mera alanı 49,21 da ve mera kalite derecesi 3,45
olarak elde olarak elde edilmiştir.
