Öz

Dialogic teaching is a pedagogical approach that harnesses the power of talk to encourage students to think, understand and learn. The reason why speech is valued in the approach is that speech is at the center of the meaning-making process and therefore at the center of learning. The current research aims to reveal the bibliometric characteristics of scientific research on dialogic teaching. In our age where knowledge is rapidly increasing, bibliometric research offers opportunities for scientists who will conduct research in a field to see the general framework of the field and determine the needs. The method of the research is bibliometric analysis. In the Web of Science database, 237 publications were accessed by selecting all fields with the keyword "dialogic teaching". Bibliometric analysis of these articles was conducted using the bibliometrix package of RStudio software. As a result of the analysis, the distribution of the journals with the most publications on dialogic teaching, the authors with the most publications and their production graph, the global citation ranking of the articles, the productivity and collaboration of the countries in the articles and the collaboration network of the authors, and the most frequently used keywords and abstract words in them were revealed.
