Abstract

Child sexual abuse is a traumatic experience with psychological effects in the short and long term. The reporting, which is considered critical intervention for termination of child's abuse and initiation of interventions in legal process depends on child's explanation of abuse. However, when literature on the subject was examined, it was observed that there was a limited number of the sources that would form the basis for the interviews with the child who was victim of sexual abuse were not easily accessible. Therefore, this study was carried out in order to contribute to related literature and professionals who works in this area. It is necessary to be extremely careful in the interviews with the child who is victim of abuse. Because the expression of children are very important in reporting the case, which is difficult to prove. The responses of the interviewers may be reason why the child gives up his/her narrative. Children are sensitive and vulnerable than adults. Therefore, to ensure that the child does not suffer a second trauma, it is important to conduct the interview carefully and to act on the principles of high benefit and protection of the child throughout the interview.

Cinsel İstismar Şüphesi Bulunan Çocukla Görüşme: Öğretmenler ve Okul Psikolojik Danışmanları Nasıl Davranmalı ve Neler Yapmalı?

Abstract

Çocuk cinsel istismarı, kısa ve uzun vadede ruhsal etkileri bulunan travmatik bir deneyimdir. Çocuğun maruz kaldığı istismarın son bulması ve yasal sürece yönelik müdahalelerin başlatılması için kritik müdahale olarak görülen bildirim, çocuğun istismara ilişkin yapacağı açıklamaya bağlıdır. Ancak konuyla ilgili literatür incelendiğinde, cinsel istismar mağduru çocukla yapılacak görüşmelere temel oluşturacak kaynakların sınırlı sayıda olduğu gözlemlenmiştir. Bu nedenle bu derleme ilgili literatüre ve bu alanda çalışan uzmanlara katkı sağlamak amacıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. İstismar mağduru çocukla yapılacak görüşmelerde son derece dikkatli olmak gerekmektedir. Zira kanıtlanması güç olan bu durumun bildiriminde çocukların anlatımları oldukça önemlidir. Görüşmeyi gerçekleştiren meslek elemanlarının vereceği tepkiler, sonrasında çocuğun anlatımlarından vazgeçmesinin sebebi olabilmektedir. Çocuklar yetişkinlere göre daha hassas ve incinebilir yapıdadır. Bu nedenle mağdur çocuğun ikinci bir travma yaşamaması için görüşmenin titizlikle yürütülmesi, görüşme boyunca çocuğun yüksek yararı ve korunması ilkelerince hareket edilmesi önem taşımaktadır.
