Araştırmanın çalışma grubu 198’i kadın, 162’si erkek olmak üzere toplamda 360 katılımcıdan oluşmaktadır. Araştırmada kişisel bilgi formu, travma sonrası bilişsel yükleme ölçeği ve travma sonrası stres bozukluğu kısa ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre travma sonrası bilişsel yükleme ile travma sonrası stres bozukluğu arasındaki pozitif yönde anlamlı ilişkiler saptanmıştır. Ayrıca travma sonrası bilişsel yükleme travma sonrası stres bozukluğunu anlamlı düzeyde yordadığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen sonuçlar neticesinde travma sonrası bilişsel yükleme ve travma sonrası stres bozukluğu arasındaki ilişki, travma sonrası stres bozukluğu semptomlarının gelişimini ve sürdürülmesini anlamak için önemli etkileri olabileceği düşünülmektedir.

Post-traumatic stress disorder is caused by exposure to an extremely stressful event or series of events, such as war, sexual assault or abuse. This is a normal reaction by normal people to an abnormal situation. In this study, in order to examine the relationships between post-traumatic cognitive attribution and post-traumatic stress disorder, the first aim was to examine the relationships between post-traumatic cognitive attribution and post-traumatic stress disorder. The second aim of the study is to examine the level of post-traumatic cognitive attribution predicting post-traumatic stress disorder. This study was designed based on the relational survey model, one of the survey models. The study group of the research consisted of 360 participants in total, 198 of whom were female and 162 of whom were male. Personal information form, post-traumatic cognitive attribution scale and post-traumatic stress disorder short scale were used in the study. According to the results of the study, significant positive correlations were found between post-traumatic cognitive attribution and post-traumatic stress disorder. In addition, it was concluded that post-traumatic cognitive attribution significantly predicted post-traumatic stress disorder. As a result of the results obtained from the research, it is thought that the relationship between post-traumatic cognitive attribution and post-traumatic stress disorder may have important implications for understanding the development and maintenance of post-traumatic stress disorder symptoms.
