A Method of Assessment: Portfolio

Abstract

The portfolio is becoming increasingly accepted as a valuable tool for learning and assessment. The strength of portfolios derives from their ability to offer rich evidence of learners’ development and achievements. This article is intended to inform about portfolio. It includes a background to the definition, advantages and disadvantages of portfolio, content of portfolio, and the reason why we use portfolio. Use of a portfolio in all stages of medical education will be beneficial for the medical education.

Abstract

Portfolyo, artan bir şekilde öğrenme ve değerlendirme için değerli bir araç olarak kabul edilmektedir. Portfolyonun gücü, öğrenenlerin gelişim ve ilerlemesi için zengin kanıtları sunmasından gelmektedir. Bu çalışma portfolyo hakkında bilgi vermeyi amaçlamaktadır. Yazı portfolyonun tanımı, olumlu ve olumsuz özellikleri, içeriği ve niçin portfolyo kullanıldığı konularını içermektedir. Tıp eğitiminin tüm aşamalarında portfolyonun kullanılması tıp eğitimi için çok yararlı olacaktır.
