Abstract
Summary:
After having mentioned the fact that in different phases of history, theatre has been nourished with different cultures to meet its ends, the text above, focuses on Eugenio BARBA's work regards to interculturalism. In this token, Barba's efforts to find the principles repeated or similar in every culture, improvisations and creating plays while he was working with ISTA (International School of Anthropology), have been studied with examples. In the last part of the text, Barba's work has been evaluated in regard to his contribution to interculturalism.
