International Journal of Turkish Literature Culture Education (TEKE) is a peer-reviewed, open-access, international scholarly journal published quarterly (March, June, September, December) since 2012. The journal provides a global platform for original research in the fields of linguistics, historical and modern dialects and literatures of Turkish, Turkish and world literature (classical and contemporary), cultural studies, and mother tongue/foreign language/second language education.

TEKE welcomes original research articles, review articles, and critical studies from scholars worldwide. The journal is committed to fostering international scholarly dialogue and publishes contributions in Turkish, English, German, French, Russian, and contemporary Turkic writing languages (Azerbaijani, Uzbek, Kazakh, Kyrgyz, Turkmen). This multilingual policy reflects the journal's mission to serve the global community of researchers working on Turkish and Turkic studies, comparative literature, and language education. The articles published in the journal have been downloaded 5.2 million times via the DergiPark platform, which is provided by TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM and offers electronic hosting and editorial process management for academic, peer-reviewed journals published in Turkey.

The journal's scope encompasses the following thematic areas:

•        Turkish Linguistics: Historical and contemporary Turkish grammar, phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, pragmatics, sociolinguistics, dialectology, and corpus linguistics.

•        Turkish Literature: Classical Ottoman literature, modern Turkish literature, folk literature, comparative literature, literary theory, and literary criticism.

•        World Literatures: Comparative literature, literary theories.

•        Cultural Studies: Cultural heritage, folklore, ethnography, and cultural identity in the Turkic world; intercultural communication; digital culture and media studies.

•        Turkish Language Education: Curriculum and instruction in Turkish language education; teaching Turkish as a foreign/second language; literacy development; language policy; assessment and evaluation in language education.

•        Interdisciplinary Studies: Art history, musicology, archaeology, and other disciplines intersecting with Turkish and Turkic cultural heritage.

TEKE applies a rigorous double-blind peer review process. All submitted manuscripts are evaluated by at least two independent referees with expertise in the relevant field. The journal adheres to the COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) Code of Conduct and is committed to the highest standards of publication ethics. TEKE is indexed in TR Dizin (Turkey's national citation index) and is registered with CrossRef for international DOI assignment and citation tracking.
