Abstract
In this article, breaking strength of the seams during u'sage of the garments have been examined and their minimizations are searched. For this purpose, different seam methods are developed and their effects on seam breakage and bursting sLi-ength of material are searched experimentally. As a result of these experiments, it has been seen that the seam strength could be increased by using twin needles.
