Abstract
Synthetic raw materials cause serious waste disposal problems because they are not biodegradable and produce noxious decomposition products when burnt. Cellulose is supplied annually by Nature and, after use, is effortlessly reabsorbed into cycle of Living processes. Cotton tinters are the only raw material from which cellulose with a purity of over %8O and degrees of pdlymerization up to 7000 can be economically derived.
