Abstract
Air quenching systems used in melt-spinning for the production of syntetic fibers hawe a very strong effect on fiber quality as drawability, Uster value, tenacity, elongation at break and uniform dyebility. In this article, the cooling of melt-spun fibers will be examined under the light of theoratical and expherimental data and different systems used in aplication will be explained.
