B.Stiegler’de İnsan Ontolojisi ve Dijitalleşme Çağında Eğitim

Abstract

Bernard Stiegler’in eğitim felsefesi, teknolojinin ve teknolojik gelişmelerin insan bilinci üzerindeki etkisini merkeze alan bir eleştiri sunmuştur. Stiegler’e göre son zamanlarda eğitim sistemi, teknolojinin hızlı gelişimiyle birlikte köklü bir dönüşüm yaşamaktadır. Özellikle dijitalleşme, bilgiye ulaşılabilirliği kolaylaştırırken bireyin bilişsel gelişimi için önemli olan dikkati hedef almakta ve zayıflatmıştır. Dijital dünya dikkati derinlikten koparıp geçici olan tüketime yöneltmekte, dijital araçlara bağlılık kişinin zihinsel proleterleşmesine sebep olmaktadır. Bu durum ise zihinsel çeşitliliği yok ederek entropiye neden olmaktadır. Eğitim bu yok edişe karşı negentropik bir alan olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Eğitim bireye kendi varoluşunu geliştirmek için direnme gücü sağlamalıdır. Eğitim dijital araçların yarattığı zehri, dikkat dağınıklığını ilaca; eleştirel düşünme, derin dikkat gibi becerilere dönüştürme sanatı olmalıdır. Bu noktada teknoloji ve dijitalleşme, doğru bir pedagoji ile ele alındığında bir pharmakon görevi görerek yıkımı iyileştirmeye dönüştürebilir. Çalışmada birinci bölüm Stiegler’in ontolojisi üzerinde durmaktadır. İkinci bölümde ise teknolojik gelişme ve insan ilişkisi, dijitalleşen dünyanın ayrıntıları analiz edilmekte ve üçüncü bölümde ise eğitimin pharmakon olma özelliği ayrıntılandırılmaktadır.

Human Ontology in B. Stiegler and Education in the Age of Digitalization

Abstract

Bernard Stiegler's philosophy of education offers a critique centred on the impact of technology and technological developments on human consciousness. According to Stiegler, the education system has undergone a fundamental transformation in recent times, alongside the rapid development of technology. Digitalisation, in particular, while facilitating access to information, targets and weakens attention, which is crucial for an individual's cognitive development. The digital world diverts attention away from depth and towards transient consumption, and dependence on digital tools leads to the mental proletarianisation of the individual. This situation causes entropy by eliminating mental diversity. Education emerges as a negentropic field against this destruction. Education should provide the individual with the resilience to develop their own existence. Education should be the art of transforming the poison created by digital tools, the distraction of attention, into skills such as critical thinking and deep attention. At this point, technology and digitalisation, when approached with the right pedagogy, can act as a pharmakon, transforming destruction into healing. The first section of the study focuses on Steigler's ontology. The second section analyses technological development and human relations, as well as the details of the digitalising world, while the third section elaborates on education's pharmakon characteristic.
