PUBLICATION ETHICS PRINCIPLES
The Journal of Society, Economy and Management (TEYD) adheres to publication and editorial processes that form the foundation for the objective and reputable development and dissemination of knowledge. These processes directly reflect the quality of authors’ work and the institutions that support them. Peer-reviewed studies are essential to uphold and embody the scientific method. Therefore, it is crucial that all parties involved in the process (authors, readers, researchers, publishers, reviewers, and editors) comply with ethical standards.
TEYD expects all stakeholders to uphold the following ethical responsibilities. These responsibilities have been prepared based on the guidelines and policies published as open access by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
ETHICAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF AUTHORS
Authors submitting a manuscript to TEYD are expected to comply with the following ethical principles:
- Manuscripts must be original. Authors must give full and accurate citations if they refer to or use content from other sources.
- All potential conflicts of interest must be disclosed.
- Authors may be asked to provide raw data related to their research during the review process and must be prepared to share these with the editorial board if requested.
- Authors must have the legal rights to use the data presented and must possess the necessary permissions related to research/analysis or the ethical approvals for experiments involving human or animal subjects.
- If authors discover a significant error or inaccuracy in a published, early-access, or under-review article, they are obliged to promptly inform the editor and cooperate in the correction or retraction process.
- Authors must not submit their manuscript to more than one journal at the same time. Each submission should begin only after the previous one has been completed. Manuscripts previously published elsewhere cannot be submitted to TEYD.
- Once the review process has started, any requests to change authorship (such as adding, removing, or reordering authors) will not be accepted.
