Berk Ayvaz graduated from Istanbul University, Department of Mechanical Engineering. He completed his PhD in 2013 at Istanbul Technical University, Department of Management Engineering. He has been working as a faculty member at Istanbul Commerce University since 2013. His research interests include supply chain management, network design, multi-criteria decision making, fuzzy sets and optimization.
Prof. Hanifi Parlar completed his undergraduate education in Biology Teaching at Marmara University (1992), his master's degree in Educational Management and Supervision at Yeditepe University (2006), and his doctorate in the same field at Marmara University (2012). After working for 10 years in various private institutions in different positions such as teacher, deputy school principal, school principal, general manager, he was appointed to Istanbul Commerce University, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Department of Educational Sciences as an Assistant Professor in 2012. Parlar, who became an Associate Professor in 2018, became a Professor in the field of Educational Sciences in 2024. Prof. Parlar currently works for Istanbul Commerce University, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Department of Educational Sciences. Prof. Parlar has many articles published in journals indexed in national and international directories. Prof. Parlar's research areas include capacity building, school effectiveness, leadership development, teacher professionalism, organizational development, teaching strategies and innovation in education.

Akram Khasanovich Begmatov is a Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor, and a leading expert in the fields of integral geometry, tomography, and ill-posed and inverse problems of mathematical analysis and physics. He is a worthy successor to the scientific school of Academician M. M. Lavrentiev.
He was born on October 3, 1959. In 1982, he graduated from the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of Lomonosov Moscow State University — one of the world’s top universities, consistently ranked among the top 100 globally.
He defended his Candidate of Sciences dissertation in 1991, and his Doctoral dissertation in 1998 at Novosibirsk State University (NSU), which is ranked among the top 350 universities in the world.
Prof. Begmatov has 45 years of scientific and teaching experience. Throughout his career, he has successfully combined research, teaching, and academic administration, having served as an assistant professor, department head, dean, and vice-rector. From 2014 to 2017, he worked as a visiting professor at POSCO College in Gwangju, South Korea. He is currently a professor at the Joint Belarus-Uzbek Interindustry Institute of Applied Technical Qualifications (SBUIPTQ) in Tashkent.
He has participated in six scientific projects under national programs, two of which he led himself, focusing on youth and startup innovation. Under his supervision, three PhD dissertations, eleven master's theses, and twenty bachelor's theses have been completed.
He has authored over 190 scientific and methodological works, including 152 journal articles, 2 monographs, 2 textbooks, 7 study guides, and 5 methodological manuals. He holds four patents and software certificates. Thirty-five of his papers have been published in journals indexed by Web of Science and Scopus. A significant portion of his research is devoted to the theory of mathematical tomography.
Prof. Begmatov has taken part in international conferences in Japan (1999), Russia (1993–2009), Latvia (2010), and Israel (2019, 2024). He is on the editorial board of the journal Balıkesir Üniversitesi Fen Bilimleri Enstitüsü Dergisi and is a member of two specialized academic councils (DSc and PhD) in Samarkand and Nukus.
Among his students are recipients of prestigious national awards — including the Presidential Scholarship and the Ulughbek State Scholarship.
Akram Khasanovich is a respected educator, an innovator in academic practice, a dedicated mentor to young scholars, and a person deeply committed to both science and family values. He is the proud father of six children and grandfather of five.

1973 yılında Trabzon’da doğdu. İlk, orta ve liseyi Trabzon’da tamamladı. 1996 yılında Marmara Üniversitesi Teknik Eğitim Fakültesi’nden teknik öğretmen olarak mezun oldu. 1999 yılında yüksek lisansını tamamladı. 1997-2000 yılları arasında Marmara Üniversitesinde Araştırma Görevlisi olarak çalıştı. 2009 yılında Kocaeli Üniversitesi Fen Bilimleri Enstitüsünde “Fren Disklerine Uygulanan Kaplamaların Frenleme Performansına Etkisinin Deneysel İncelenmesi” konulu tez çalışmasıyla doktor oldu. Demir, İBB –İSPARK AŞ’de Teknik Müdür olarak çalıştı.
2011 yılında Marmara Üniversitesi Teknoloji Fakültesi Makine Mühendisliği Bölümü’nde Yardımcı Doçent olarak göreve başladı. 2023 yılında Doçent oldu.
Başta otomotiv olmak üzere, şehircilik, ulaşım ve otopark yönetimi gibi alanlarda ulusal ve uluslararası dergilerde, kongre ve sempozyumlarda yayımlanmış makaleleri ile “Bütüncül Eğitim – Giriş Kitabı” başta olmak üzere toplam 4 kitap çalışması bulunmaktadır. Ayrıca “Kadim Bilgi Yeni Dünya: İslam, Teknoloji ve İnsanlık” eserinin de editörlüğünü yürütmüştür.
2018 yılından beri başta eğitim olmak üzere felsefe, metafizik, teoloji, tasavvuf, divan edebiyatı, sosyoloji, antropoloji, mantık, ahlak/etik, nasihatname, siyasetname, ütopya/distopya, bilişsel ve nöro-bilim, psikoloji, psikanaliz, teknoloji ve transhümanizm, kozmoloji, kuantum felsefesi/fiziği ve edebiyat (masal-hikâye-roman-şiir) gibi alanlarda yoğun bir okuma serüveni gerçekleştiren Demir, evli ve iki çocuk babasıdır.
Dr. Ahmet Fatih Tabak received his B.Sc. in Mechatronics Engineering in 2005, his M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science in 2007, and his Ph.D. in Mechatronics in 2012 from Sabanci University. He was a post-doctoral fellow with the Department of Physical Intelligence at the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems, Stuttgart Site, for three years (2014–2017). He was faculty with different universities in Türkiye: Istanbul Ticaret University (2012–2014), Bahcesehir University (2018–2020), and Kadir Has University (2020-2023). As of 2022, he is a tenured professor of Biomedical Engineering, with a special focus on Robotics. He is now with the Faculty of Engineering at Istanbul Ticaret University, again. He is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and IEEE Robotics and Automation Society (RAS). He is also a committee member of the International Conference on Manipulation, Automation and Robotics at Small Scales (MARSS).
Asıf Yokuş, matematiksel fizik ve uygulamalı analiz alanlarında çalışan disiplinler arası bir araştırmacıdır. Akademik kariyerinde özellikle doğrusal olmayan diferansiyel denklemler, soliton teorisi ve sismik dalga, kimyasal süreçler, opsiyon fiyatlama ve finansal modellemeleri üzerine yoğunlaşmıştır. Yokuş'un çalışmaları, klasik fiziksel modeller ile modern matematiksel tekniklerin kesişiminde yer almakta; kink ve peakon soliton çözümleri gibi yapıların doğadaki enerji taşınım süreçlerini nasıl temsil ettiğini incelemektedir.
Son dönem araştırmaları, Klein-Gordon tipi yüksek mertebeden doğrusal olmayan dalga denklemleriyle Rayleigh dalgaları arasındaki ilişkiyi kurarak, yer kabuğundaki yüzey dalgalarının matematiksel simülasyonlarına yeni bir perspektif kazandırmıştır. Aynı zamanda kimyasal kinetikte dinamik hareket eden dalga modellerde doğrusal olmayan dispersiyon analizi gerçekleştirmiştir. Yokuş, Jacobi eliptik fonksiyonları ve analitik yöntemleri kullanarak elde ettiği çözümleri, hem teorik hem de grafiksel olarak değerlendirmekte ve bu çözümleri, matematiksel perspektif ile jeofizik, kimya, fizik bağlamda enerji yoğunluğu analizleriyle ilişkilendirmektedir.
Bilimsel üretkenliğinin yanı sıra, Yokuş aynı zamanda genç araştırmacıların farklı disiplinlerde ortak çalışmalara yönlendirilmesi konusunda da aktiftir. Analitik yöntemlerin fiziksel olayların modellenmesindeki rolünü vurgulayan yayınları, çeşitli ulusal ve uluslararası sempozyumlarda sunulmuş ve birçok çalışmaya kaynaklık etmiştir.
Guy holds a PhD in sciences and Mathematics from the Université libre de Bruxelles (1975). His primary interests are in time series analysis and forecasting, as well as computational statistics. Some of his recent research themes are multivariate models, models with time-dependent coefficients, high-frequency time series in economics, and online treatment, from asymptotic theory to algorithms and applications. He is the author of three books, the most recent being Méthodes de prévision à court terme, 2nd edition (2007) (in French), and of numerous articles in international journals. Guy is now a retired tenure professor at the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management but continues his research at ECARES.
