Preparation and Submission of Papers
1. TIRAD accepts works written in Turkish and English.
2. All correspondence regarding the studies sent to the journal is made with the responsible author who uploads the survey to the DergiPark system. Communication with the corresponding author is established through the DergiPark system.
3. All responsibility for the paper sent to our journal belongs to the author(s).
4. Submission of articles to our journal is made only through DergiPark; papers sent by means other than this will not be evaluated.
5. Papers must be written in Microsoft Word 2003 and above.
6. The Copyright Agreement Form signed by all authors should be submitted via the DergiPark system and as a separate file. The form must be signed wet and sent by scanning. Click for copyright assignment form.
7. Only 1 (one) paper by an author (excluding special issues) is published in the same year. In papers with co-authors, a maximum of 2 (two) works by one author can be published in the same year.
8. The papers should be prepared in 11-point Cambria lettering with 3 cm margins from the top, bottom, right and left sides, with 6 nk and 1.15 line spacing and in accordance with the journal’s template. Click for article template.
9. Except for book reviews, Turkish papers should be prepared in the following order: Title, author information, Turkish abstract and keywords, English title, English abstract and keywords, introduction, main text sections, conclusion, extended abstract in English, and bibliography.
10. English studies, excluding book reviews, should be prepared in the following order: English title, author information, English abstract and keywords, Turkish title, Turkish abstract and keywords, introduction, main text sections, conclusion, extended abstract in Turkish, and bibliography.
11. Papers submitted to the journal (excluding extended abstracts) should be 6,500 - 8,000 words.
12. In the papers, the abstract should be between 180-250 words and the extended abstract between 600-800 words.
13. 5 (five) Turkish keywords representing the content of the paper should be placed under the Turkish abstract, and 5 (five) English keywords representing the content of the study should be placed under the English abstract.
14. Papers sent to the journal go through the preliminary evaluation process before being sent to the reader, and papers that are not prepared by the specified writing rules are rejected without being subjected to reader evaluation.
15. Book reviews should be between 2,500 and 3,500 words.
