Eksen Dönmesi Gösteren Çift Yıldızlara İstatistiki Yaklaşım

Öz

Eksen dönmesi hareketini, bir çift sistemin göreli yörüngesine ilişkin büyük ekseninin ya da bilimsel makalelerde kullanıldığı şekliyle göreli yörüngenin enberi doğrultusunun, odaktan geçen ve yörünge düzlemine dik eksen etrafında dönmesi şeklinde ifade edebiliriz. Eksen dönmesi klasik ve rölativistik nedenlerden kaynaklanmaktadır. Rölativistik katkı sistemin toplam kütlesi ile doğru orantılı iken göreli yörüngenin yarı-büyük eksen uzunluğu ile ters orantılıdır. Yörünge dış merkezliği büyüdükçe rölativistik katkı da artmaktadır. Eksen dönmesine olan klasik katkı ise daha ziyade bileşenlerin homojen olmayan yoğunluk dağılımlarından kaynaklanmaktadır. Diğer taraftan bileşenlerin dönme hızları, sistemin kütle oranı ve yörünge dış merkezliği de belirleyici parametreler olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Bu çalışmada eksen dönmesi gösteren çift sistemlerin dω/dt ile verilen eksen dönme hızlarının sistemlere ilişkin diğer parametreler ile olası ilişkileri araştırılmıştır. Çalışma kapsamında eksen dönmesi gösteren yıldızların eksen dönme parametreleri ve bileşenlerine ve sisteme ilişkin parametreler literatürden derlenmiş ve parametreler arasında olası istatistiki ilişkiler araştırılmıştır.

Statistical Approach to Binary Systems Showing Apsidal Motion

Abstract

We can express the apsidal motion as the rotation of the major axis of the relative orbit of a binary system, or as used in scientific articles, the perigee direction of the relative orbit, around the axis passing through the focus and perpendicular to the orbital plane. Apsidal motion is due to classical and relativistic reasons. The relativistic contribution is directly proportional to the total mass of the system and inversely proportional to the semi-major axis length of the relative orbit. As the orbital eccentricity increases, the relativistic contribution also increases. The classical contribution to apsidal motion is rather due to the non-homogeneous density distributions of the components. On the other hand, the rotational velocities of the components, the mass ratio of the system and the orbital eccentricity also appear as determining parameters. In this study, the possible relationships between the apsidal motion rate, dω/dt, and other parameters related to the systems were investigated. Within the the scope of the study, the apsidal motion parameters of systems showing apsidal motion, and parameters related to the component stars and binary systems were compiled from the literature and possible statistical relationships between them were investigated.
