Karakaya Karmaşığı Kırıntılı Kayaçlarındaki Klorit ve İllit/Mikaların Mineral Kimyası: Köken ve Diyajenez/Metamorfizma

Abstract

Sakarya Tektonik Birliği içerisinde Jura-Öncesi Paleotetis Okyanusu’nun kapanmasıyla ilişkili Permo-Triyas yaşlı Karakaya Karmaşığı birimleri yüzeylenmektedir. İllit/beyaz mikaların bileşimleri muskovit-illit-fenjit arasında değişmekte olup, detritik kökenliler muskovitik (Siort=3.15, (Na+K)
ort=0.81), otijenik kökenliler illitik (Si=3.22, (Na+K) ort =0.74) bileşime yakındır. Açılmalı/genişlemeli basenlerin karakteristiği olarak bilinen paragonit (Si=2.96, Na=0.78, K=0.10) ve NaK mikalar (Si =3.09, Na=0.45, K=0.34) Karakaya Karmaşığı’nın alt-yeşilşist fasiyesine karşılık gelen Turhal Metamorfitleri’nin üst bölümünde belirlenmiştir. Kloritler bütünüyle trioktahedral olup otijenikler (Siort =5.67, Feortort=5.05) detritiklere (Si
ort=5.56, Feort=4.80) göre daha yüksek SiIV, daha düşük Fe içeriğine sahiptir. Kloritler Hodul Birimi’nde şamozitik, Orhanlar Birimi’nde klinoklor bileşimlidir. Turhal Metamorfitleri’nde az sayıda, Orhanlar Birimi’nde yaygın olmak üzere yüksek Mg (5.70-7.59) ve Cr (0.09-0.16) içerikli detritik kloritler de belirlenmiş olup, Triyas-öncesi ofiyolitik kayaçların varlığına ait kanıtlar olarak değerlendirilmiştir. Klorit kimyası verileri, Turhal Metamorfitleri için felsik, Orhanlar Birimi için metabazik (olasılı Paleotetis kalıntıları), Hodul Birimi için Al- ve Fe-ce aşırı zengin felsik ve metapelitik kökeni işaret etmektedir. Klorit jeotermometresi verileri 150-300°C arasında değişen sıcaklık, fenjit jeobarometresi verileri 0.5-1.2 kbar arasındaki basınç verilerini işaret etmektedir. Bu veriler, Karakaya Karmaşığı alt-yeşilşist fasiyesiyle temsil edilen üst kesimi için yüksek sıcaklık-düşük basınç metamorfizması, Karakaya rifti alt-yeşilşist fasiyesi birimleri için düşük-orta sıcaklık-düşük basınç diyajenez koşullarını yansıtmaktadır.
