Abstract
Monitoring and evaluation have been considered as a part of the management process in recent years. In this context, considering the current situation of the Acıpayam irrigation scheme, which has a net irrigation area of 10300 hectares, it is aimed to evaluate the irrigation scheme by using some performance indicators such as water distribution, financial and production. According to the results, between 2007 and 2018, on average the irrigation rate, the amount of water distributed to the unit total irrigation area, the amount of water distributed to the actually irrigated area, the water supply rate, and the cost recovery ratio were determined as a 43.2%, 3143 m3, 7020 m3, 0.95 and 106%, respectively. Revenue collection performance in the irrigation network was determined to be 75% on average, while the amount of land per employed person varied between 490 ha/person 687 ha/person. Production performance indicators such as output per unit total irrigation area, output per actually irrigated area and output per unit water were ranged from 993 $/ha and 2159 $/ha, 1886 $/ha and 5134 $/ha and 0.248 $/m3-1.082 $/m3, respectively.
