The Journal of Turkish Librarianship is the official quarterly publication of the Turkish Librarians' Association. It contains original scientific articles, opinions, reader letters, article translations, news and professional meeting announcements in Turkish and English, which review issues related to information and documentation management and offer solutions for those. No processing fee is required for articles to be submitted to the journal.
Turkish Librarianship journal (Türk Kütüphaneciliği) is indexed in the Emerging Sources Citation Index (Clarivate Analytics/ ESCI)", "Library and Information Science Abstracts (LISA)", "Library, Information Science and Technology Abstracts (LISTA)","Bibliography of Articles in Turkish Periodicals" and "TUBITAK/ ULAKBIM TR Index Social and Humanity Sciences Database". Turkish Librarianship is an open access journal and listed in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ).
All submissions to the journal are subject to assessment by the Editorial Board and the Peer Review Board. The opinions expressed are those of the authors only. They do not necessarily represent the views of the Turkish Librarianship journal.
Articles accepted for the scientific section of the journal, after completing the editorial process, are subject to scientific evaluation by the double-blind method. Articles, which belong to other sections, are evaluated by the editorial board.
