Year 2016, Volume: 8 Issue: 2, 73 - 74, 24.07.2016

Abstract

Hijama is a traditional method of detox therapy showing its effect via the lymphatic capillaries, interstitial fluid, extracellular space, arteriovenous junction, cellular activation and cutaneo-visceral reflex in the dermis, with a history of 5,000-years. From past to present, it has been applied by different medicinal disciplines and it has been tried to be explained by the admission of disease mechanism of each discipline. Unani medicinal discipline is a conventional treatment method based on the humoral pathology theory and it explains the cupping mechanism by a conventional language on this theory.

Unani Tıp Penceresinden Hacamat (Kupa Terapisi)

Year 2016, Volume: 8 Issue: 2, 73 - 74, 24.07.2016
