Abstract

Akut romatizmal olmayan streptokokal miyokardit, A grubu streptokok’un neden olduğu üst solunum yolu enfeksiyonunun nadir bir komplikasyonudur. Bakteriyel enfeksiyonlarda kardiyak tutulum, ciddi komplikasyonlara yol açabileceği için uygun şekilde tedavi edilmelidir. Bu vaka raporu, A grubu beta hemolitik streptokok enfeksiyonuna bağlı kızıl sırasında miyokardit tanısı alan olguyu tanımlamaktadır.

Acute Nonrheumatic Myocarditis: A Rare Complication of Group A Streptococcal Infection

Abstract

Acute nonrheumatic streptococcal myocarditis is a rare complication of upper respiratory tract infection caused by group A streptococcus. Cardiac involvement in bacterial infections should be treated appropriately because it can lead to serious complications. This case report describes a case of myocarditis diagnosed during scarlet fever due to Group A beta-hemolytic streptococcal infection.
