Abstract

Bu çalışma, Gazze’de son yıllarda yoğunlaşan insan hakları ihlallerini, uluslararası hukuk ve medya yansımaları çerçevesinde incelemekte; bu bağlamda, devletlerin ve küresel aktörlerin siyasal iletişim stratejilerini eleştirel bir bakışla değerlendirmektedir. Araştırmanın temel amacı, sivillere yönelik sistematik hak ihlallerinin uluslararası kamuoyunda nasıl temsil edildiğini ve bu temsillerin hangi iletişim araçlarıyla meşrulaştırıldığını analiz etmektir. Nitel yöntemle yapılandırılan çalışmada, çok katmanlı söylem analiziyle hem diplomatik söylemler hem de medya içerikleri çözümlenmiştir. Bulgular, özellikle dijital platformlar üzerinden yürütülen görsel ve dilsel stratejilerin, çatışma anlatısını yeniden üretmede ve kamuoyunu etkilemede önemli rol oynadığını göstermektedir. Sonuç olarak çalışma, Gazze bağlamında insan hakları ihlallerinin yalnızca hukuki değil, aynı zamanda iletişimsel bir mücadele alanı olduğunu ortaya koymaktadır.

Human Rights Violations in Gaza and Global Political Communication Strategies

Abstract

This article examines the intensifying human rights violations in Gaza within the framework of international law and global media discourse, critically evaluating the political communication strategies of states and transnational actors. The primary aim is to analyze how systematic violations against civilians are represented in the international arena and through which communicative instruments these representations are legitimized. Utilizing a qualitative methodology, the study applies a multi-layered discourse analysis to both diplomatic rhetoric and media content. The findings reveal that visual and linguistic strategies employed via digital platforms play a significant role in shaping conflict narratives and influencing public opinion. Ultimately, the study concludes that in the context of Gaza, human rights violations constitute not only a legal issue but also a site of communicative contention.
